Week 3

Nathaniel about to interview a witness of the Stone Age visitors
.
Elizabeth and her crew ready for live transmission.
Homework  24/09/14
Given out on Thursday, due in on Tuesday.
English
We have been looking at the Lascaux Cave piantings as a part of our theme. To go with our cave paintings I would like you to research the Lascaux Cave paintings and write in your own words a short paragraph of information that will be attached to your painting for our museum exhibits. It doesn’t need to be a long paragraph but it must be in your own words.

Maths
Well done for completing the online homework. We are trying to sort out the glitches for those of you who could not access theirs. This week you have a geometry challenge to complete as we have been studying the properties of quadrilaterals.
Some of you may be ready to take the times tables milestones challenge. If you are confident enough, talk to myself or Mr Wainwright. Will yours be one of the first names on the milestones wall?

Please work on the 6x table this week. Keep practicing your 3x table and build up your knowledge. Remember to use your times tables tool box.

Our theme work has continued to be cross curricular, studying different types of rock and their properties in science, Stone Age cave paintings for art and Stig of the Dump as our narrative study just to list a few of our lessons. You all worked incredibly hard on your news report interview for Look East, your filming and broadcasts were extremely professional! Well done.
