This week Class 5 have been incredibly busy!
We have all fully participated in 'Growth Mindset Week'. Details and photographs of this week can be found on our growth mindset blog, just click here.
We also enjoyed Sports Day this week, and have started rehearsing the KS2 production! Rehearsal photographs will follow soon.

A Royally Good Time!
Where did that half-term holiday go?
Well we are back, and what a time we have had!
After SATs, things went relatively back to normal in Class 5. We created video diaries as fairy tale characters, and went over our skills in reading the time, with some of us looking at how to convert time internationally.
Our final week before the holidays was, in one word, Wicked! Year 6 enjoyed their treat to go to London, and for some of us enjoy our first ever West End show!
After a quick week-long break, we went straight back to work... and then celebrated the Queen's Birthday!
Friday started with a challenge of trying to get all the British historical events over the past 90 years in order. We were surprised that the Queen was born the same year the first ever early television was produced (no sound, colour, or widescreen, but impressive nonetheless!)
We then wrote some prayers for the Queen, which have been added to the Fordham poster to be sent to Buckingham Palace - we hope she likes them!
Finally, we all participated in 'The Great British Birthday (Non)Bake-Off'! We had to use foil cases, card, paper and any decorations we like to create a show-stopper birthday cake for the Queen. Here are our interesting and creative results!
Delicious!
As it's the Queen's Birthday (and we were all out of routine) there is no white book homework this week, although pupils should use this extra time to start looking at their scripts.
Rehearsals start next week!!!
