We have arrived at the penultimate week of the Autumn Term. We will be organising and preparing our museum exhibits this week, polishing our ballroom jive skills and mapping a magnetic field around a magnet in physics. Weather permitting we will be having a hockey match to prove our skills and studying the Battle of Britain during WW2. Long multiplication practice and application along with reading large Roman Numerals will be our focus in maths. We are continuing to study Michael Morpurgo’s War Horse, adding more to our knowledge of the First World War as well as grammar and phonics skills.

  3. I have just finished the book Dogs Of The Heather Lands. I love the way the author has made the story have a ghostly feel to it. The best part was when the silver dogs first appear. The word sin the book was great but there could have been longer words. I would rate the the book 5 out of 5. I have also learnt something from this book that Heather lands means no mans land in German.

  4. I have read the book The Sign Of A Warrior, my favourite part was when Ash (the main character) has to catch a giant spider. This book gets 5 stars out of 5 but the vocabulary could be uplevelled.

  5. I have read the book Run, I think it is a realy good book because it has constant suspense and you just want to read on! The only bit were it was a bit boring was the first chapter, so I rate this book 4 out of 5.
