We have a busy and important week ahead of us Class 5!
You have invited family to the Armistice Day service at Fordham War Memorial and you have been practising hard for your part in that.
Our squash team have their first tournament of three on Thursday and we are all off to the inter schools music festival at Copford Primary School tomorrow. As well as that I will be presenting you with another chemistry challenge. I was extremely proud of your ability to utilise your knowledge and experiment accordingly last week.

      Homework  10/11/14
Due in on Friday as homework will be given out on Mondays, due in on Fridays.
English – one more week for this assignment, ready for a presentation from 17/11/14
Research exactly what Boudicca’s role was in burning down Roman Colchester. You will need to find interesting information for a speaking presentation to the class in two weeks time (17th) and have your information neatly presented in whatever format you wish, (printed or handwritten) ready to exhibit in our museum. You will need to time your presentation so that it lasts no more than three minutes and can be less. You can make or find artefacts or pictures to show us too if you wish.

Maths
I expect you to be able to work out the calendar months and know the month rhyme. This week’s homework gives you practice at this. Keep practicing your 3x, 4x, 6x, 7x, 8x and 9x  tables and build up your knowledge. Remember to use your times tables tool box. The 11x table this week must be fluent.
